On display for all the world to see

It is not well known on this website because I don’t tend to mention it much, but I’m also trained in graphic design and do both graphic design and web design for artists, small businesses and non-profit organisations. The reason I don’t advertise it is because while I enjoy it, it is not the purpose…

  • It’s all about production

    It’s all about production

In my studio this week it is all about production. I have gesso, and boards waiting for gesso, scattered across my drying racks, I have one painting and three paper mosaics in progress, and more waiting to be put online for sale. And dare I mention the crazy plans running around in my head?…

  • In my studio this week

    In my studio this week

Just a quick post and dash this week, the kids are starving and I’m going to get into trouble if I don’t feed them… This week, this happened:       Still a work in progress and not great photos as my camera is in camera hospital and being held ransom for $190 to repair…

    Retrospective – Sunflower I

Paint Party Friday – Gungurru Dawn

Aaargh! I had hoped to have this finished to show for PPF, but I haven’t had time, plus there were at least two days this week where I came home from work and just crashed (well, after the evening routine with the kids, anyway, gone are the days of relaxing straight after work).

  • A return to Paint Party Friday

A return to Paint Party Friday

Basically yellow, orange, red and purple reside beside each other on the colour wheel in that order and are harmonious. However, if you flip the order of the colours and lay them next to each other we encounter the fact that yellow and purple are direct contrasts and spark off each other.
