TSR-2 What If?

I thought I might just share this snippet I found flicking through "Lincoln, Canberra and F-111 in Australian Service".
"Just after the F-111 was selected...it was revealed that the TSR-2 had been subject to an attractive offer, an offer which included 25 examples of the new aircraft plus two squadrons of bombers from the RAF's V-force( either Vulcans, Victors or soon to be retired Valiants) and their crews on loan pending the arrival of the TSR-2s."
As a point of interest the F-111 deal included the free lease of up to two Squadrons of Boeing B-47E Stratojets but this option was never taken up.
