This is the Glencoe kit of the Marsliner, which is in fact the old Strombecker kit of the Disneyland TWA Moonliner from the 1950's. What can you say? 1950's kit...1950's fit! Lots of sinkmarks and dodgy joints requiring large amounts of filler and spray putty. While I was at it I replaced the leg retraction struts with brass rod and the very poor fitting clear parts with Kristal Kleer. Unfortunately the Kit decals shattered when I tried to use them so instead of the red and white TWA finish I wanted I went for a generic silver finish instead.
