The annual S.A. Scale Model Expo showcases the hobby of scale modelling. A major feature of the Expo weekend is the Annual Open South Australian Scale Model Display & Competition. The Expo is open to all modellers who build scale models of civil, military, historical, sci-fi and fantasy subjects. Modellers, regardless of standard, are invited to enter their models for competition or display purposes.

The event is balanced between a model competition for entrants and a model showroom for visitors and hobby shop customers. Local and interstate hobby traders are invited to operate retail sale sites at reasonable rates.

The Expo is voluntarily hosted by the South Australian Plastic Modellers Association (SAPMA) for the benefit of Modellers, entrants, the viewing public and participating hobby traders and sponsors.

Display Your Models! The Expo is for modellers of all standards. "Display Only" model entries are FREE to encourage more modellers to display their finished models.

  Aircraft - Best of British Post WW2 (SeaFury, Lightning, Tornado etc)
  AFV/Historical Figures - British Army All Eras
  Auto - Best of British All Periods (Jaguar, MG, Aston Martin, Rolls Royce etc)
