Introduction

Welcome to the S.A. Plastic Modellers Association (SAPMA) website. SAPMA is Adelaide's premiere scale model club and host of the annual S.A. Scale Model Expo. SAPMA is open to all modellers, regardless of interests and standard. Our members' interests span all branches of the hobby - from armour to aircraft, cars to ships and science fiction.

We hold monthly meetings to discuss modelling, hold demonstrations and display our latest creations in a very informal atmosphere. Modellers are invited to join us in 2008 for an exciting program of modelling activities, which includes "how-to" modelling demonstrations, swap & sell and special interest group theme projects. We also host an annual competition, the SA Model Expo which is open to all modellers, both SAPMA members and modellers in general.

Sapma Open Day

In July SAPMA will host an OPEN DAY / SCALE MODELLING WORKSHOP for interested scale modellers:-
DATE: SUNDAY JULY 22nd
VENUE: RUGBY BUILDING GLANDORE COMMUNITY CENTRE NALDERA STREET, GLANDORE
TIME: 10:00am - 4:00pm COST: Gold Coin donation (nb. no charge for SAPMA members)
ACTIVITIES: SAPMA club members will display completed models and demonstrate some of the most commonly asked about model building skills.
ENQUIRIES: 8381 9022 (after hours only) or 8381 8441 (after hours only) All scale modellers, regardless of age and modelling skill level, are welcome.

When and where do we meet?

Our monthly meetings are held on the FIRST TUESDAY of every month from 7:30 - 9:30pm at the Slade Building, Glandore Community Centre, 25 Naldera Street, Glandore. The January meeting will be held on January 23 2007.

Membership: Adult is $30, Under 17 is $15
Costs: Free for financial members, $5.00 for casual visitors
